As the largest performing arts complex within the region, the Mattie Kelly Fine & Performing Arts Center at Northwest Florida State College is an ideal venue to showcase visiting talent from all genres and tastes within beautiful, state-of-the-art facilities.

Located just 15 minutes from the tourist destinations of Destin and Fort Walton Beach, the Mattie Kelly Arts Center draws patrons of music, theater, dance and art from the immediate vicinity as well as from the greater Panhandle area served by the college. Marketing surveys from local economic development agencies have shown that this region, known as the Emerald Coast, draws long-term visitors and tourists from throughout the entire Eastern United States.

The crown of the Mattie Kelly Arts Center complex is the mainstage theater which seats up to 1,650 in comfort and style. The Mainstage is large enough to accommodate the largest and most complex touring Broadway shows as it has done since its opening in 1997. The theater provides near-perfect acoustics and sight lines from all seat locations and the 2,500 square foot stage aptly accommodates all varieties of performing arts with the latest in light, sound and special effects equipment.

The new NWF State College Amphitheatre is a perfect venue for outdoor concerts and shows. Permanent structure seating is available for up to 500 and the grassy, sloped grounds will easily accommodate 3500 more. Restroom facilities, concession booths and ample parking complete the appeal of the amphitheatre for large events.

The flexible, "black box" theater, the Sprint Theater, is perfect for smaller performances with seating for up to 195. The elegant Tyler Recital Hall is ideal for intimate recitals and seats 150.
