Forever Music, a concert featuring the Northwest Florida State College vocal ensemble, Schola Cantorum, will be presented in a series of four concerts in Spring 2017 at area churches.

Christ the King Episcopal Church, Santa Rosa Beach – Monday, March 27 – 7:00 p.m.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Shalimar – Wednesday, March 29 – 7:00 p.m.

First Presbyterian Church, Crestview – Monday, April 3 – 7:00 p.m.

St. Simon’s on the Sound Episcopal Church, Ft Walton Beach – Wednesday, April 5 – 6:45 p.m.

The program, entitled "Forever Music" includes works such as "Music Makes Me Feel Alive", "Moses, Now Your People Are Free!" , "In That Great Gittin’ Up Morning", "My Banjo on My Knee", "Don’t You Weep, Don’t You Mourn" , "In That Great Gittin’ Up Morning", "I Will Be the Light" and more.

Schola Cantorum, means "School of Singing" and is an ensemble of talented community vocalists who perform under the direction of John Leatherwood, emeritus music professor at Northwest Florida State College.

Singers include: Dick Campis, Lin Loughlin, Tim Crawford, Richard Montague, Dolores DeSoucy, Wilma Shively, Sara Florence*, Ruby Stillions*, Laura Hernandez*, David Stroup, Uma Jolly, Floyd Stroup, Charlotte Kuss, Rebecca Wendel, Mike Lindhorst, and John Zirpola.

Carolyn Schlatter, also a retired NWF State music professor, is the group's accompanist and Charlotte Kuss is Flutist.
