Music World Gospel recording artist Le'Andria Johnson has taken the gospel music scene by storm since being crowned the season three winner of BET's Sunday Best™ in 2010. Her debut CD, The Awakening of Le'Andria Johnson, entered at #1 on multiple music charts, including both the Billboard Top Gospel Albums and the Top Christian/Gospel Albums charts. The CD also debuted at #1 on the Christian Music Trade Association's Current Gospel Overall chart. It spent eight weeks at #1 on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart, and remains in the Top 5 for over 15 weeks. Le'Andria received her first GRAMMY© nomination for Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music performance for her debut single, "Jesus." Opening performers will include Spirit and Truth Ensemble (Tallahassee, Florida) and the Believers Life Center Dance Ministry (Pensacola, Florida).

The concert benefits the NWFSC Pacesetter Scholar Program that was established in 1995 by Mr. Bill Hall as part of the college's scholarship plan to assist African American male students to attend NWFSC. The selected students not only receive tuition assistance but have additional requirements that include successful completion of the college's Service Learning Seminar and 20 hours of community service mentoring in the local school district. The students must also maintain a minimum grade point average and complete twenty-four (24) semester hours during the academic year. The two year experience as a Pacesetter is focused on giving each scholar a well-rounded educational experience that goes beyond the classroom.
