Heritage Museum and NWFSC to host Native American Visionary Gallery Talk on the Power of Creativity
Mattie Kelly Arts Center

Vision Bear
10/26/2009 - On Friday, November 6 at 1:00 p.m. the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida and Northwest Florida State College will host Vision Bear, a Native American artist, visionary and healer at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center Galleries.
In his third visit to the Gulf Coast, Vision Bear will discuss the power of creativity, breaking through creative barriers and the potential significance of creativity after the culmination of the Mayan calendar in 2012.
A self-taught and spirit-guided artist, Vision Bear has been painting and teaching for more than thirty-five years. Vision Bear maintains transformative power of art and its ability to transcend the barriers of spoken language and culture. He has served as a teacher and an advisor to individuals, businesses and groups across from around the world.
A fascinating presentation that should not be missed! This program, co-sponsored by the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida and Northwest Florida State College, is free and open to the public. A donation of $5 is suggested. For additional information or, to reserve a seat, call (850) 678-2615.
